To dream

To wander the past

To remember.

Leafing the pages

Holding the past.

Then come upon this place

scattered with thoughts.

Drifting and dreaming

In the fog of forgetfulness

Floating to the beyond.

The silver memories

Long forgotten.

The dream that is Paris.

(Eugene Atget l897 – 1927 was a French flaneur and a pioneer of documentary photography.   He is noted for his determination to document the architecture and sheet scenes of Paris before their disappearance.  Over twenty years and more he took a collection of 18 x 24-format photographs in every street of Old Paris.)
